FEBRUARY 4TH

YOGA AT ALL SAINTS’  If you think you’re too Old, too BIG, too out of shape, for a gentle stretch/yoga class, think again! Based on the teachings of Peggy Cappy’s Yoga For The Rest of Us Ô method and EmbodyogaÔ, Linda’s next class will be held on Thursday morning, February 4th in Kidder Hall from 10:00 am to 11:15 am. Yoga is best practiced in loose, comfortable clothing with bare feet on a yoga mat (if you can bring one). If you feel you must leave your socks on, please wear “gripper” socks. As always, it is advisable to check with your doctor or healthcare professional before beginning an exercise class.  If you have any questions, please contact Linda at anantayoga@comcast.net

FEBRUARY 7TH

PARKING  On Sunday, February 7th, Mount Holyoke College is hosting a gala gymnastic event at the Kendall Sports Complex.  As a result, parking spaces will be at a premium throughout the day.  Plan to arrive early for worship and please know that All Saints’ has been in contact with the Mount Holyoke Parking Authority regarding the parking spaces dedicated for All Saints’ parishioners every Sunday.

FEBRUARY 12TH

PUNCHING HOLES IN THE DARKNESS  Churches from South Hadley, Granby and Holyoke have partnered to provide a Gathering for Hope & Healing & Unity on Friday, February 12th, from 7:00-8:30pm  at All Saints’ Episcopal Church. A creative, interactive and prayerful opportunity for our community to respond to recent tragic events, the evening is intended to provide support and love for young and old alike.

FEBRUARY 13TH

WRITING WORKSHOP  On Saturday, February 13th, we will offer a Writing Workshop in Kidder Hall from 10:00 am until 12 :00 pm.  The suggested donation is $10.00 and all proceeds will be donated to the Episcopal Relief and Development Haiti Fund.

FEBRUARY 14TH

MARDI GRAS PANCAKE BREAKFAST   ALL ARE INVITED to join us at 9:00 am on February 14th, the last Sunday before Lent, for a pre-Lent celebration! Although churches traditionally gather on Fat Tuesday, the evening before Ash Wednesday, to let loose and enjoy  some MID-WINTER FUN before the solemnity of the Lenten season, All Saints’ will offer a wonderful breakfast of pancakes, bacon, sausage and fruit. There will be Mardi Gras beads and masks available, a craft project for the children, pancake races and a promise of great fellowship. Cost: $5.00 for adults, $4.00 for children; $15.00 for a family of 4 or more. Why not consider wearing one (or all three) of the official Mardi Gras colors: Purple (justice), Green (faith), and Gold (power)?!

GOING FORWARD

ALL SAINTS’ GOOGLE CALENDAR  All parishioners with an email address on file with the church office will soon receive an email invitation to join Google Calendar. Once you accept, you will be asked to create a free Google Gmail account, complete with your own username and password. This will give you access to the All Saints' Church Calendar through your Google Gmail account and allow you to view all scheduled worship services, special events, meetings, classes etc. throughout the year!

If you wish to schedule an activity, meeting, special event or weekly lesson in our beautiful building, please contact the church office at 532-8917 or allsaintschurchoffice@gmail.com. This will allow the parish administration to check for previously reserved building usage and schedule your request promptly. Both the paper calendar outside the church office and the All Saints’ Google Calendar will then be updated to reflect the addition. All Saints' is pleased to offer space to many groups both within and without our church community.

Christian Education Programs

*Sunday School classes for children in grades Kindergarten through High School will be held weekly every Sunday during the school year, except the third Sunday of the month.  New students are always welcome. The children join their family during the exchange of the Peace so that they may participate in the celebration of Holy Communion.

The third Sunday of the month is Children's Sunday when the children participate in the worship service as acolytes, readers, oblation bearers, and ushers.  The children's choir as well as the adult choir enhance the service with their music.

Adult Formation classes are held throughout the year covering a variety of topics, in varying formats.  As programs are scheduled we will post descriptions on this page.  If you are interested in being directly notified when a program is available, please call or email the office.

For more information on our services or education programs, please contact the office at 413-532-8917 or AllSaintsChurch Office@gmail.com
